Today, the Cambodia Independent Teachers’ Association celebrates the World Teachers Day which participates by association’s members, teachers, students, and students ‘guardian, workers, trade union, embassy officials, journalists, and parliamentarians (national and international guests).
The purpose of this celebration mainly reminds about signature anniversary in 1966 of recommendation of UNESCO and ILO on circumstances of every education level. Moreover, this celebration aims to attract the attention of government and the public toward the important role of teacher throughout Cambodia in building bright future.
7:30 – 8:00: The arrival of national and international guests at the celebration’s venue
8:00 – 8:15: Declaration of reason
8:15 – 8:40: Open remark by Mr. Rong Chhun, president of the Cambodia Independent Teachers’ Association (CITA)
8:40 – 9:10: The speakers’ impression about the World Teachers Day
(10 minutes for each speaker)
